The Origin of Surreal Science

There's usually a catalyst that sends someone running for a pen to scribble a storyline, storyboard a potential comic, or design a line of tie-in merchandise (coming soon). It was an unlikely partnership, one neither of us could have foreseen when sitting, day after day, for six months at the same table in the same coffee room. Without speaking. Then one fateful day we realised we were both massive geeks and a friendship was forged that shook the earth to its very foundations (NB: reader experience of earth shaking may vary)!

Please remember that the characters Hunk and Alice are in no way reminiscent of any actual persons, living or dead. Especially us. Because no one could actually manage to squeeze in that many coffee breaks in the working day. Pfft. Damn, almost managed to type that with a straight face...
